Since 2001, Connected Sources teams have worked with State authorities, Trade organisations and large brands to build systems and procedures for better supply chain security.

A first example of this expertise is the design and successful deployment of The Global Security Verification Program (www.importsecurity.com), gathering 3000 multinationals, foreign manufacturers and partner organizations, to mutualise the costs of supply chain security verification. GSV partners include Ann Taylor, Nike, Pepsi, Philip Morris, General Motors, JC Penney, Target, The Home Depot, Sears, Toys R Us. A second example is the initiative taken by the National Coffee Association of USA (with members like Starbucks, Kraft, Mc Donald's, Wal Mart) to monitor the coffee supply chain compliance vs. C-TPAT guidelines as defined by the US Customs.

In 2008 and 2009, new supply chain security certification programs will be run by the European Community (A.E.O) and Canada (P.I.P).
